How 2z.fi handles information

2z.fi is a global DNS management service operated by Sendanor. It provides a web UI and REST APIs for DNS configurations for enabled domains.

Information processed

The application data model is limited to DNS configurations for enabled domains and the operational state needed to manage them. ChatGPT Sites handles platform authentication; 2z.fi does not store personal profiles as DNS data. Users should not place unnecessary personal information or secrets in DNS records.

How information is used

Information is used for authentication, workspace isolation, requested UI/API operations, validation, immutable DNS publication, security, and safe diagnostics. DNS data is private by default.

ChatGPT Sites identity

Sites owns sign-in, sign-out, callback handling, and identity ingress. 2z.fi does not add passwords, app-owned OAuth, or a production identity bypass.

Providers and external services

The initial application does not store provider credentials or perform provider operations. Future integrations require separate privacy and security review. This project does not run BIND or a name server.

Retention and deletion

Data remains while needed for the service, security, audit, or an approved retention requirement. Users may request deletion through approved product flows; provider-side copies and hosting backups follow their own policies.

Data residency

2z.fi is designed as a global DNS service and does not offer an EU-only data-residency guarantee for DNS configuration data. ChatGPT Sites also does not currently guarantee residency for deployed Site code, D1/R2 data, artifacts, or logs.
